Our Teachers

Angela – Teacher
Bachelor of Early Education
From Angela: “I really love being part of Evesham Road Kindergarten and being a local girl, it’s fabulous to see all our families out in the community and being able to watch everyone grow up.
I really value the importance of play in children’s learning and making strong connections with the children and families. I strive to make learning fun and at times a little bit silly.
I believe Kinder is a very magical place, and I am very lucky to watch the magic happen as the children grow, develop, make discoveries and become ready for their next learning adventure.”

Carla – Teacher
Bachelor of Teaching
From Carla: “My name is Carla, and I am thrilled to be joining the team at Evesham Road.
I have worked in the field of Early Childhood for over 30 years in a wide variety of roles, settings and communities including, sessional kindergarten, long day care and team leading. My real passion however is working closely with children, fostering within them a sense of curiosity and wonder and supporting them to grow into confident and resilient individuals. I trust and respect the knowledge of families and believe open and honest communication is the key to every good working relationship.
When not working I am mum to 2 beautiful daughters and 2 energetic dogs – who need lots of walks. Should I have any free time I love to read, garden or curl up with a good movie.”

With three wonderful children of my own, I’ve embarked on a fulfilling journey across continents, from the vibrant classrooms of Australia to the diverse landscapes of South Africa and the enriching experiences in the UK. My belief in the transformative power of education drives me to inspire young minds to reach their fullest potential. I couldn’t be more thrilled to join the Evesham community, especially given that my youngest daughter had the joy of being part of Evesham’s nurturing environment. It’s truly an honour to contribute to a community that has already made a positive impact on my own family.
